KI SAWYER, Mich. (WZMQ) – A portion of M-94 in central Marquette County is back open to traffic after a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Investigators tell a WZMQ reporter on the scene it happened around 5:35 p.m. just outside of KI Sawyer. A car rolled over between Avenue A (a section of M-94) and Voodoo Ave.
Forsyth Township Fire Department’s second assistant captain Larry Hammond tells WZMQ the driver was traveling east past Ave. A and rolled near the entrance to the water treatment plant near the intersection with Voodoo Ave.
The driver was the only occupant in the vehicle. He was taken to UPHS- Marquette for treatment of serious injuries.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office accident investigators were on the scene.
Three fire trucks and 12 firefighters from the FTFD responded, and the Forsyth Township Police Department assisted at the scene.
