MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Tuesday, October 31st at 6:06 PM, the Marquette Township Fire Rescue was dispatched to 457 County Road 550 in response to a structure fire, where explosions were heard.
When first responders arrived, the trailer was fully engulfed and collapsing. No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported however one dog was slightly burned.
The home and one shed were completely collapsed and the fire was a total loss. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
Chocolay Township, Negaunee Township, and Powel Township were on the scene assisting Marquette City Fire.
