ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – Over 200 cars made the trip to Ishpeming over the weekend to “Buzz The Gut.”
The car show’s 21st year had no lack of variety with muscle cars, trucks, and even motorcycles on display.
There was no registration or admission fees for car owners or spectators who came out to enjoy the show. Folks traveled from all over the Upper Peninsula and parts of northern Wisconsin to take part in the event.
“My favorite part is seeing the children, like when I was a little boy, like oh my god Dad look at that, I wanna keep carrying it on like we are,” remarked Matthew Lindberg, a truck owner who has been coming to Buzz the Gut for 16 years.
According to organizer Scott Perry at the end of the year leftover t-shirts that were sold at the event and proceeds will be donated to the VFW and Bay Cliff Health Camp.
Organizers were very happy with this year’s turnout and are already looking forward to next year’s show.
