MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – An all-women’s coaching session is taking participants through the ins and outs of Mountain Biking. The course is happening this Saturday at Marquette Mountain, hosted by the adventure company “Revolve”. It’s a 4-hour course teaching everything from speed control to positioning on the bike and on the mountain.
Mountain Biking can be an intense sport, but organizers commented that this introduction course will give those participants an easy step into this thrilling sport and give advanced riders more refreshers as well. “People are really into having fun and being playful on the trail rather than going really fast and seeing how fast they can get. We always take it back to the basics because there’s always someone that can pick up something along the way or never even knew that that was a big thing,” commented Mountain Biking Coach Kelly Raber.
The class is being held from 11 am to 3 pm at Marquette Mountain.
