Community Action Alger Marquette, The Marquette County Health Department, UP Health Care Solutions, and Region 1 Perinatal Quality Collaborative are hosting a free car seat check event for parents and soon-to-be parents. It will be Friday, July 14 at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Marquette Township Fire Department.
Parents are encouraged to bring their car seat and their children with them, as kids will be measured to make sure they are using the correct car seat.
Drive-ups will be taken, but parents are encouraged to register ahead of time to ensure a time slot. Each car seat check will take about 30 minutes. You can register here.
