MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – For the first time ever on the Fourth of July the Lower Harbor Ore Dock was lit up with lasers to celebrate the holiday.
Fresh Coast Lights Labs has been working with the city of Marquette for the past year to develop laser shows. Founder David Kronberg says the show in Marquette is the largest architectural laser show in North america.
Residents may have had the chance to get a sneak peak at the show during trial runs the past few weeks, but tonight’s show was something completely different.
“Tonight’s show is entirely unique, it’s a composition made for viewers tonight, and there is going to be a livestream with a musical score by Shamonic Ape,” said Kronberg.
Kronberg says he is looking forward to lighting up the Ore Dock for more events in the future.
