MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Marquette residents had the chance to pick up some second hand items and support a local non-profit today.
Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice held a rummage sale to benefit the hospice patient care fund. The fund is able to provide items that will improve the quality of life for a patient during their final days.
Items sold at the rummage sale were collected and organized by volunteer Suzy Duqette.
“We are a non-profit hospice and so our reimbursement only covers so much, and so this allows us to provide extra support to those who are under our care,” remarked Jennifer Voegtline, the CEO of Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice.
The non-profit accepts donations year round, to contribute to Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice visit here.
