MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – High School football players from around the U.P. will take the field Saturday to showcase their skills one last time.
The annual U.P. All-Star football game is set to kick off at 1pm in the Superior Dome in Marquette. Players from 42 different high schools have been drafted onto two teams to face off.
For the rest of this week players will be in camp where they will have practices, bond with their new team mates, and reflect on their football careers
“You are gonna see some special plays, phenomenal athleticism i just think, and competitive nature, it’s just a fun experience the whole time,” remarked Brad Wiljanen the head coach of the red team playing in Saturday’s game.
