Next weekend, 156 professional golfers will descend upon Sweetgrass Golf Club in Escanaba for the Island Resort Championship as a stop on the Epson Tour.
Each player will come in hoping to notch a major victory in their quest to earn their LPGA Tour Card at the end of the year, which the Top 10 earners on the money list will do. The Island Resort Championship at Sweetgrass is one of the biggest events of the year on the Epson Tour, and golfers on the tour consistently claim it as their favorite tournament and make it a must-play on their schedule.
The Island Resort Championship kicks off next Friday June 23rd and runs through Sunday the 25th. You can purchase tickets at the gate, on the phone, or through local charitable organizations to go watch some of the best golfers in the world compete right in our own backyard.
