L’ANSE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – In L’anse, a restaurant that has been a part of the town for many years has temporarily closed its doors. Hilltop Family Restaurant has seen a recent increase in costs and a decline in sales since the pandemic.
Hilltop owners hope to reopen, bringing their famous sweet rolls and layered meatloaf to the community, and are in discussion with a possible manager to take over operations.
According to Restaurant Attorney Timothy Quinnell, a third-party purchase also remains possible.
