MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – After months of hard work, teams from Marquette’s Dancing With Our Stars finally had the chance to show off their moves tonight.
It was opening night for the fundraiser which benefits . Eight teams performed in front of a packed house at the Forest Roberts Theatre on NMU’s campus. The show has been a long time coming for the performers, but they say the work has been worth it.
“It all goes to hospice, which is an amazing experience in itself, to be able to help those people out, and then secondly you can’t miss this, its the funniest, the craziest show in town,” remarked Pat Digneit, one of the dancers in the competition.
Dance with our stars has its finale tomorrow night. The show kicks off with a red carpet at 5 p.m.
