ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Escanaba Gun & Knife Show began on May 5 at the Delta Chamber Multi-Use Complex.
The two-day show features more than twenty vendors this year. According to show director Dennis Moberg, no matter what type of activity or memorabilia you enjoy, you’ll find something at the Escanaba Gun & Knife Show.
“There’s old knives, new knives from a whole host of vendors here,” Moberg said. “We’ve got some custom knife makers, we’ve got factory knives, antique militaria, some have antique fishing and trapping equipment. There’s something for everybody here.”
Proceeds from the show will benefit the U.P. Military Museum and the Webster’s Marble: Inventing the Outdoors Museum. Admission is $5, but kids twelve and under can attend for free if accompanied by an adult.
Moberg says the show adheres to all state and federal regulations. He also requires every gun in the building to have a zip tie attached.
“Safety is our primary concern,” he said.
The Escanaba Gun & Knife Show continues on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 pm.
