MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Velodrome coffee in Marquette has a new home on 3rd Street. The coffee company first started back in 2017 on Washington, owner Brice Sturmer made the decision to relocate for a bigger space and closed down the old location earlier this month.
The shop was open for its first day in the new location on Wednesday. The Marquette café staff says people have been excited to see the larger menu and the extra space in the new location.
“It’s been great to see all the old customers who have been coming to us for years and it’s been awesome also to meet all the new friendly faces here in this neighborhood.” Sturmer says, “We have a little bit more food here, we’ve got a lot more seating, a lot more parking, and a new space to show off our super passionate and talented staff.”
The Marquette Velodrome is now open from 7am until 6pm at 1125 North Third Street.
