MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Marquette bank is raising money for The Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Marquette. Range bank hosted the first hidden talent show fundraiser.
Masked performers showed off their talents while the audience cast their votes for the best performance of the night. The banks goal is to raise 25 hundred dollars for the imagination library which would provide 1 thousand books to children under 5 in Marquette.
Hannah Westra is the marketing coordinator with Rage Bank, She says with April being financial literacy month, they wanted to partner with The Imagination Library to emphasize that literacy, even financial literacy, is important to start young…
“Honestly it’s been a really eye opening experience for how community oriented our community is.” Westra says, “It’s just been really amazing to see the community support to make this event a success.”
