GOGEBIC COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – A Wakefield man reported missing less than two weeks ago was found dead Monday evening.
Gogebic County Sheriff’s Deputies received a tip Monday around 6:30 p.m. about Rudy Patrick Massi, 37. Massi was reported missing March 31.
Warmer weather conditions led to new evidence. The snowmelt uncovered Massi’s tracks in the snow.
Deputies found Massi’s body at 7:57 p.m. in an undisclosed location.
The incident is still under investigation. An autopsy is planned from the county’s forensic pathologist.
