MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Proactive Grant Giving project is hosted by the Superior Health Foundation every 2 years, selecting a project to dedicate two-thirds of its funding.
For the next two years, it’s focusing over 1 million dollars on Pediatric Mental Health, aiming to address child needs that aren’t always seen. Jim LaJoie, Executive Director of the Superior Health Foundation comments, “What areas do we need to address because our kids are our future there’s a real dier need to provide recourses that we can help them with depression and anxiety we feel really good about addressing this issue”.
On May 24th at Marquette-Alger RESA, the SHF is inviting leaders in the pediatric industry to discuss what needs to be addressed and the best plan moving forward for the future generation.
