MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Marquette-Alger RESA is teaching a series called “Guiding Good Choices”, covering a number of parenting topics, and strengthening family bonds.
The 5-week educational opportunity is open to all Upper Peninsula Families and will teach parents about conflict resolution, setting clear boundaries, and being aware of open communication. “Believe it or not they like rules, cause it gives them comfort it gives them security, and safety. Often times we set things out but don’t have the follow through, so maintaining that these are the boundaries these are the expectations, but, how to carry through with them and how to follow through,” said Health Education Consultant Michelle Granger.
The series will take place every Wednesday at the U.P. Childrens Museum starting April 5th through the 3rd of May. Click here for more information regarding Guiding Good Choices.
