MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – From March 16th-18th, the Friends of the Peter White Public Library hosts the semi-annual used book sale. The sale will display a variety of literature, local art pieces for purchase, and even plenty for the community to enjoy.
“We do have quite a few children’s books, we have a great selection of fiction we also have some specially priced unique items, some are local books some are first editions and so there’s some neat stuff to check out. Coffee table books, and art books, there are definitely something for everybody,” said Development Director Heather Steltenpohl.
The book sale on Thursday is 5 PM-8 PM with a $5.00 admission fee fundraising for the Friends of the Peter White Public Library.
On Friday, there is no admission charge and community members can view the book sale during normal library hours (9:30 AM-5:00 PM).
Saturday, there will both be a half-price sale from 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM, and a “Bag Sale” from 1:45 PM-4:00 PM.
