MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The community foundation of Marquette is still accepting applications for the spring grant cycle.
The foundation welcomes any registered 501(c)(3) non-profit that improves the quality of life in Marquette County.
Using creative approaches to address the needs of the community, these grants provide an abundance of support for community nonprofits in the county, including funding available for arts and culture, youth education, and a variety of other community needs.
In the 2022 cycle, the Foundation was able to award $85,000 in grant funding to 51 non-profit organizations across the county.
“This specific grant cycle is for addressing whatever the current, relevant needs in the community are. They might be thinking about starting up a new program. Maybe they’re expanding a program and just need that additional financial support,” noted Foundation CEO Zosia Eppensteiner.
The grant application deadline is April 7th at noon.
