MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A board game store in Marquette is celebrating its one year anniversary on February 28th.
Iron Golem Games on Washington Street in downtown Marquette opened last February. The store provides a place to purchase, learn and play all different types of board games.
Earlier today the Lake Superior Community Partnership hosted a one year reception for the store to celebrate.
“A lot of people were looking for a space to get together with people again.” Says the stores Co-Owner Joseph Baker. “And so we offer to anyone who was kind of out of a space to have their hobbies and enjoy them with other people.”
The store has demo games and staff standing by to help new players learn how to play.
