TRENARY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Trenary Outhouse Classics return for its 30th ever with much anticipated fun to come!
Kicking off the races with its annual parade of homemade masterpieces placed on skis to be pushed by 2 runners. Skilled craftsmen construct their best vessel to skid, gracefully, down the track.
Mimi Cady, President, Trenary Outhouse Classic cannot wait for the events to begin and said, “If you’ve never seen anything like this before, it would be amazing to do. We have people come from all over the place. We have had them from Japan, we’ve had the Discovery Channel, Comedy Central was there last year. Everybody comes to at least see it once in their life.”
Outhouse race officials couldn’t be happier with this weekend’s weather outlook.
Registration begins at 11 am followed by the first heat starting at 2 pm.
