ISHPEMING, Mich. (WZMQ) – The weather has shifted dramatically since the recent warm temperatures. The winter storms have continued to pummel the Upper Peninsula beginning this week.
The Road Commission said even with the slower snowfall, it still may take the plows up to 24 hours to fully clear the road.
The Marquette County Road Commission has snow plow operators that are moving the snow on the roads all day. Director of Operations Ross Olson said, “They go every which direction from the shop here we got 5 garages all hands on deck, night shift”.
