An issue with an ice machine is blamed for a fire reported at the Elks Lodge in Escanaba on Saturday, according to the department of public safety.
It was reported at the lodge at 510 Ludington St. around 3:14 p.m.
Firefighters found flames and heavy smoke at the back of the building, quickly put out the fire and ventilated the building, the department of public safety said.
No injuries were reported.
