MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new dance company has hit the scene in Marquette and is giving NMU students a chance to show off their skills.
The “co / lab company” is a dance group composed of theater and dance students. They work alongside staff members from the school to choreograph a number of performances throughout the year.
The company is premiering a new show this week, self-titled “co-lab company. It’s at the Forest Roberts theater on Northern’s Campus. According to choreographer Karina Johnson the show gives students a chance to become more well rounded and hone their performance skills before joining the professional workforce.
