ISHPEMING, MICH. (WZMQ) – A pair of comedians from Minnesota will be traveling to the upper peninsula on Friday night to raise money for the upper peninsula animal welfare shelter.
Comedians Jeff Pfoser and Rick Logan will provide a fun night of laughs during UPAWS 10th annual “raise the woof” fundraiser at River Rock Lanes and banquet center in Ishpeming.
Doors for the show open at 7pm and the comedy starts at 8.
The fundraiser is the first of the year for UPAWS and helps to kick off their season. Leslie Hurst, who’s running the fundraiser, says “it’s really great to get our new and old support out and it’s really much needed funds. We don’t receive government assistance, so we rely solely on donations and our fundraisers to support the work that we do.”
Doors for the show open at 7pm and the comedy starts at 8.
Tickets are $20 per person or $30 for a couple when purchased online or $20 at the door.
