MARQUETTE, MICH. (WZMQ) – Adventure filmmakers around the upper peninsula came together on Wednesday in Marquette to share tips and tricks about filmmaking.
The panel discussion, which was hosted by Connect Marquette, was free and open to the public.
Panelists shared clips from their films and answered questions about the process of filmmaking, and ways to get started.
Connect Marquette says they hope to inspire more yoopers to get out and share the beauty we have here in the Upper Peninsula.
Benjamin Haight, one of the filmmakers, says that almost everyone has access to what they need to start producing films, and by holding panels like this one he’s able to share his passion with others in the community.
