EBEN JUNCTION, Mich. (WZMQ) – Neo Wilson, was just 16 when he suddenly passed away last summer.
Paavo Mannisto, “We actually went camping that last night with him, that was fun, we all had a blast. He died doing what he loved and that was fishing.”
According to Wendy Koehn Superior Central teacher, an autopsy showed neo had a heart condition that made his heart remain the size of a younger child’s. Although Neo had a smaller heart physically, his friends say his heart was bigger than most.
Grant Garrow, “He was just always willing to help we would drop whatever he was doing to helps somebody no matter what.”
The boys say Neo would be proud of what they have already achieved and know if he was here.
In honor of his memory Neo’s group of friends is hosting a toys for tot drive at Superior Central High School. The boys invited everyone in the community to donate toys to give to children this Christmas.
Combs, “he was definitely the type of guy that would be doing this out of his heart.”
And he says putting smiles on the faces of every child that will receive one of these toys let’s Neo’s smile spreading memory, live on.
Mannisto, “He was a brother to all of us he was one of the most humble, kind people, you are ever going to meet.”
