MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A man missing out of Delta and Marquette Counties was found alive and well.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Dennis James Kivioja was located just after 10 a.m. Monday and was put in touch with his family.
The sheriff’s office thanks everyone who called into the tipline with information.

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a missing man.
Dennis James Kivioja, 56, was last seen in the City of Escanaba around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23. Deputies say he had plans to ride his bicycle back to his property on Boney Falls Rd. in Wells Township in southern Marquette County but has not been seen there.
Kivioja spends his time in the Wells area of Delta County but has not been heard from by friends and family there.
Kivioja is a white male, 5’7″ tall, 130 pounds with sandy blonde hair, hazel eyes, and glasses. It’s unknown what clothing he was wearing or what kind or color bike he was riding.
Kivioja recently had surgery and is diabetic.
