Police arrested a Wisconsin homicide suspect overnight.
Philip Novak, 36, was taken into custody without incident in Phillips, Wisconsin.
He is accused of shooting and killing Eddie Banks, 46, and fleeing the area.
A passerby found Banks dead in a ditch in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin.
Investigators believed he may have been heading to northern Wisconsin or the Michigan Upper Peninsula before his arrest in Price County around midnight.
