The 4th of July holiday is just around the corner and Marquette’s event planning committees are hard at work. For a couple years due to the pandemic the Marquette 4th of July Parade was closed and now they are back and ready for action.
A new theme is also following this parade. Robert Anderson say’s they have launched this theme a “New Beginning”, representing the strength and independence of this great country.
The parade will be taking their normal route going from North Mcclellan Ave. to West Washington and down Third Street.
David Tousignant with the Marquette Fire Works Committee made a note during our interview that all these funds towards the Fireworks show is by the community. Local businesses and members of the community help out in a lot of ways to make this show happen.
