Work on the Portage Lake Lift Bridge between Houghton and Hancock will require a lane closure this upcoming week, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
The outside southbound lane on the bridge will be closed Monday through Friday to allow for curb work on the lower bridge deck and minor concrete patching.
The ongoing repair project is expected to be completed in early June.
