A resurfacing project on US-41/M-28 in Marquette County will start Monday, May 9, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.
$1 million is being spent to resurface 3.5 miles from Marquette County Rd. FNO to west of Marquette County Rd. AKE.
The project includes sealing, asphalt milling and resurfacing, shoulder gravel and pavement markings.
There is also a three-year pavement performance warranty.
Drivers may see intermittent, single-lane closures during the project.
Work is expected to be completed June 21.
