Several sidewalks are undergoing repairs throughout the City of Marquette.
City workers started chipping away Monday at the sidewalk repair and extension project.
It includes several sidewalk replacements throughout the city, as well as an extension of a sidewalk on the southside of Wright St. between Lakeshore Blvd. and Presque Isle Ave.
There will be a few lane shifts, but sidewalk removal areas will be clearly marked with construction cones to warn pedestrians.
The project is expected to last about two weeks.
