A single-vehicle crash in Marinette County killed a man Monday, according to the sheriff’s office.
It happened on State Highway 180 and Four Lakes Rd. in the Town of Wagner just after 3 p.m.
A witness said a silver pickup truck was heading westbound went it went off the road, hit a tree then rolled over, the sheriff’s office said.
The driver – a 71-year-old man from the Silver Cliff area – was taken to Aurora Bay Area Hospital in Marinette where he was pronounced dead.
This is the county’s second traffic fatality this year, according to the sheriff’s office.
