Menominee Welcome Center on US-41 will be closed for the next month, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT).
The closure started Monday and runs through Friday, May 20.
It will allow crews to perform interior work to bring the facilities up to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards.
The rest area parking lot will remain open, but building and exterior work areas closed off.
Portable restrooms and hand wash stations will be provided for visitors.
