The street festival features food trucks, four bars with local beers and three stages for live music.
The woodland creature costume contest returns with prizes and a ceremonial dance-off.
Admission is free, and attendees must be 21 or older.
Underage guests were able to enjoy Thursday’s Baby Bear Festival with costumes, crafts, scavenger hunts and live music.
Anyone who wishes to enjoy local craft beers must purchase an official festival cup or stein. Cups and steins from previous Angry Bear festivals will also be accepted.
Friday features Culture of Cult, which is a pop-up art collection celebrating popular movies, TV and music.
The Angry Bear 5K starts Saturday at 1 p.m. with proceeds going to the Special Olympics of Michigan.
