We are looking for a driven and creative Multimedia Account Executive to join our team and help us build strong partnerships across Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategies to consistently grow advertising revenue across both WZMQ 19 and PowerPlay
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with local business owners and decision-makers
- Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking
- Make regular sales calls on current and prospective clients
- Create and present tailored multimedia advertising solutions using both television and digital platforms
- Educate clients on how WZMQ 19 and PowerPlay can effectively promote their products and services
- Prepare customized advertising proposals, negotiate rates and finalize advertising contracts
- Coordinate ad scheduling and creative production with internal teams
- Consistently meet or exceed individual revenue goals
What You’ll Bring
- Professional Certificates, Associates, and/or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of one year in sales. Media or advertising experience preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- A proactive and goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with digital advertising tools and performance metrics is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office equipment
