Huskies only get two shots on goal
SOMERS, Wis. – The Michigan Tech soccer team fell 2-0 at Parkside on Friday afternoon. The Rangers scored a goal in each half.
Kayden Schmidt found the back of the net for the home team 35:17 into the game with Kate Brown assisting.
Isabel Morales made it a two-goal game with 31 seconds left in the contest. Ava Rizzatano set up the play with the assist.
The Rangers led in shots 26-9, including a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal. Bri Barrows made seven saves for the Huskies, while Braydin Noble and Reilly Lovercheck generated the shots on goal.
Tech travels further south on Sunday to play Roosevelt. First kick is set for 1 p.m. Eastern.
