MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – The 27th annual Blueberry Festival in downtown Marquette is right around the corner.
126 blueberry-themed vendors from across the midwest and 10 separate live bands will line Washington’s 100 block, wrapping around Front street all the way to Baraga avenue. This year’s festival will take place on the last day of July, which misaligns with other events in Marquette, giving guests one solid reason to visit.
“In recent years, it falls under the same weekend as Art on the Rocks and the Outback Art Fair, but this year as the last Friday of the month, they didn’t coincide this year, so we’re excited to see how this plays out as far as attendance,” said Marquette DDA Business Outreach Director, Mike Bradford.
The festival will take place on Friday, July 31 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Guests are reminded to leave their pets at home. Parking details and a full map of the event can be found here.
