The 32nd showing of the Outback Art Fair took place over the weekend, allowing artists to gather at Picnic Rocks to unveil pieces and artwork on display.
This year, over 110 artists and vendors showed out for the exhibit. This year, customers enjoyed handmade and custom artwork ranging from paintings to jewlery. As hundreds of people gathered to see what local artists offered, they were also treated to live music.
First started in 1994, the 2 day event serves as a way for artists not selected for Art on the Rocks to still showcase their work and give those at the fair a chance to see what they have to offer.
“It’s been busy today,” said Cutthroat Kids Clothing Owner Alec Houston. “It’s been consistent, which is awesome to see. As far as our products go, we’ll do anything. From hats, t-shirts, jerseys, hoodies, we’ve got some coats coming this winter for skiing season. Just a whole lot of fun stuff.”
The Outback Art Fair will return in 2027, on the last full weekend in July.
