MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – Star Wars Day was recognized all across the galaxy on Monday.
The Peter White Public Library held their own sci-fi celebration, joined by a cast of Imperial troopers. The library’s youth services team created multiple Star Wars themed opportunities for guests to enjoy, including a scavenger hunt, Star Wars sensory activity room, and a showing of A New Hope in the community room.
The library says the annual event is a fun way to get involved in the beloved universe, across both its films and novels.
“Star Wars Day is a great way for the library to share our joy for books and bring people that love Star Wars in,” said Holli Langlieb, PWPL Youth Services Programming Assistant.
