MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – A new thrift store in Harvey celebrated its relocation to a new facility with a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.
Silver Creek Thrift has moved into a much larger space, specifically designed for retail. They recently purchased the old Family Dollar store in Harvey. The thrift store, owned by the silver creek church, supports the many community services the church provides, like annual coat drives, back-to-school programs, and Feeding America food drives.
Silver creek church lead pastor Kevin Taylor is grateful for those WHO donate to the store and for their customers, WHO not only get a great deal but also support their mission.
Silver Creek Thrift has everything from household goods to clothes for the whole family. They take your donations Tuesday through Saturday.
