MARQUETTE COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has announced the arrest of 41-year-old Shawn Cory Holm of Ishpeming.
Holm is facing multiple charges related to possession of child sexually abusive material and activity. His arrest followed an investigation initiated by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and the ICAC Task Force, after officials learned Holm may have accessed and shared illicit content on the internet. During a search of his residence, police seized digital evidence.
Holm was charged with 13 counts of possession of child sexually abusive material, 13 counts of aggravated child sexually abusive activity, and 26 counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Holm was arraigned on March 30, and his bond was set at $260,000 (10 percent allowed). He is next due in court on April 15.
