MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) – If you’re looking to begin or expand a career in construction, there’s an opportunity in Marquette next week.
The Home Builders Association of the Upper Peninsula is holding a Construction Career Open House on Friday, April 10 at the Michigan Works! office from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., located at 1498 Odovero Dr.
On-site interviews will be available for jobs in carpentry, windows and doors, HVAC and more, as well as office and sales management. These positions are open at over 200 contracting companies around the U.P.
“You’ll come there with a resume or you can fill out an application online, those go out to my members who are hiring,” said HBAUP CEO, Sarah Foster. “We have over 260 members and a good number of them will be hiring this year.”
