All-CCHA Teams announced

MTU has two on the First Team, one on the Second Team; NMU has one on the All-Rookie Team

The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced the All-Rookie Team, All-CCHA Second Team and All-CCHA First Team and 17 student-athletes from seven programs have been recognized. St. Thomas leads the way with five honorees, while Michigan Tech and Minnesota State each saw three players garner all-league recognition.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Leo Bulgakov, Augustana (Minsk, Belarus)

Bulgakov played in all 26 conference games in his first season in the CCHA, ranking second among freshmen with 11 goals, while adding six assists for 17 points. He led league rookies in power-play goals (5) and game-winning tallies (3), recording 55 shots and blocking seven shots defensively. Assessed just one penalty for two minutes, he averaged 15:00 minutes per game. Overall, Bulgakov has 15 goals and eight assists for 23 points in 35 games.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Nathan Pilling, St. Thomas (Calgary, Alta.)

Pilling led CCHA rookies with 12 goals in conference play, while assisting on 12 more for 24 points. Appearing in all 26 league contests, he was a +8 with five power-play goals, one shorthanded tally and one game-winner. The freshman leader in shots (92), he won 52.4% of his face-offs, while averaging 19:51 minutes per game. Overall, he has recorded 15 goals and 14 assists for 29 points in 36 contests.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Lucas Van Vliet, St. Thomas (Livonia, Mich.)

Van Vliet led all CCHA rookies in assists (17) and points (27), while playing in 25 of 26 conference games for the Tommies. Posting a +3 rating, he had five power-play tallies, one shorthanded goal and three game winners. His 78 shots were second-most among conference first-year skaters and he averaged 18:56 minutes in league play. Overall, he has 11 goals and 21 assists for 32 points, which ranks sixth among all conference skaters.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Brayden Crampton, Bowling Green (Chilliwack, B.C.)

Crampton led conference rookie defensemen with 12 points on three goals and nine assists across 25 CCHA contests, posting a +7 rating. He also led first-year blueliners with 70 shots on goal, while blocking 21 shots defensively and averaging 21:14 minutes per game. Overall, he has played in 33 games, scoring three goals with 14 assists for 17 points. Posting a +5, he has blocked 25 shots at the defensive end.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Hayes Hundley, St. Thomas (Upper Arlington, Ohio)

Hundley played in all 26 games for the Tommies during conference play, scoring five goals and handing out six assists for 11 points. Posting a +10 rating, which was fourth-highest among all CCHA rookies, he recorded two game-winning goals, with 49 shots and 34 blocks defensively. He was assessed three minor penalties for six minutes and averaged 21:47 minutes per game. Overall, he has played in 36 games, scoring six goals with six assists for 12 points.

CCHA All-Rookie Team: Oliver Auyeung-Ashton, Northern Michigan (Coquitlam, B.C.)

Auyeung-Ashton played in 13 CCHA games this season, going 2-9-1 with a 2.63 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage, which was second-highest in the country among rookie netminders. Stopping 251-of-262 shots in conference play, he played 685:19 minutes, with one shutout. His season was highlighted by posting a 38-save shutout in a 2-0 victory over Bemidji State on January 30. Overall, he went 2-13-1 in 18 games, posting a 2.67 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage.
 



All-CCHA Second Team: Max Koskipirtti, Jr., Michigan Tech (Espoo, Finland)

Koskipirtti played in all 26 conference games for Michigan Tech, scoring 10 goals with 16 assists for 26 points, which was good for sixth-most in the league. Also fifth in plus-minus at +11, he had three power-play goals and three game winners, with 45 shots and 20 blocks. Averaging 18:58 minutes per game, he won 50.2% of his 526 face-offs, while being assessed just two minor penalties for four minutes.

All-CCHA Second Team: Tristan Lemyre, Sr., Minnesota State (Mirabel, Que.)

Lemyre finished conference play with 12 goals, which was good for third-most in the CCHA. He also recorded 12 assists for 24 points, scoring four times on the power play, while two of his tallies were game winners. Totaling 76 shots on goal, he blocked 11 defensively and averaged 21:27 minutes per game. In all contents, he has 13 goals and 15 assists for 28 points. He has 108 shots in 37 games.

All-CCHA Second Team: Lucas Van Vliet, Fr., St. Thomas (Livonia, Mich.)

All-CCHA Second Team: Chase Cheslock, Jr., St. Thomas (Rogers, Minn.)

Cheslock played in all 26 conference games for St. Thomas in 2025-26, dishing out 18 assists for 18 points with a +9 rating. He recorded 45 shots and blocked 25 defensively, while averaging 22:34 minutes per game. On the season, he has one goal and 23 assists for 24 points across 36 games. 

All-CCHA Second Team: Breck McKinley, Jr., Bowling Green (St. Albert, Alta.)

McKinley notched one goal and 18 assists for 19 points, while playing in all 26 conference games for the Falcons. He was a +9, with one one game-winning goal, 40 shots and 21 blocks at the defensive end of the ice. Averaging 23:27 minutes per game, his season was highlighted by a three-points game (1 goal, 2 assists) in a 4-3 victory over Northern Michigan on December 6. Overall, he finished the season with two goals and 24 assists for 26 points in 36 contests.

All-CCHA Second Team: Alex Tracy, Sr., Minnesota State (Chicago, Ill.)

Tracy posted a 14-7-5 record as the starter in all 26 conference games for Minnesota State. Registering a league-best 1.86 goals-against average and a .925 save percentage, he stopped 607-of-656 shots in 1578:56 minutes of action. He notched four shutouts, including a MacNaughton Cup-clinching 20-save effort on the final night of the regular season. Overall, he has a 19-10-7 record with a 1.81 goals-against average and a .926 save percentage with five total shutouts.
 



All-CCHA First Team: Oliver Peer, Jr., Bemidji State

Peer played in 24 of 26 conference games in his first CCHA season, scoring a league-best 16 goals with 10 assists for 26 points, which ranked fourth overall. Posting a +8 rating, he had 74 shots, with four power-play goals, one shorthanded marker and a league-high five game winners. Winning 56.6% of his face-offs in conference play, he averaged 19:18 minutes per game. Overall, he finished the season with 20 goals and 16 assists for 36 points in 34 games.

All-CCHA First Team: Stiven Sardarian, Sr., Michigan Tech (Saint Petersburg, Russia)

Sardarian led the CCHA with 32 points on 10 goals and a league-high 22 assists. Posting a +9 rating, he had 46 shots on goal, nine blocks, two power-play tallies and two game-winning goals. Averaging 18:21 minutes per contest in conference play, he produced nine multi-point games, including a four-point contest (2 goals, 2 assists) in an 8-2 victory over Northern Michigan on January 23. Overall, he has nine goals and 29 assists for 38 points across 32 games this year.

All-CCHA First Team: Lucas Wahlin, Sr., St. Thomas (Woodbury, Minn.)

Wahlin appeared in all 26 CCHA games for the Tommies, notching 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points, which was the second-highest total in the league. He was a +9 with a league-high 101 shots, netting one power-play goal and two shorthanded tallies. Defensively, he blocked 17 shots and won 48.2% of his face-offs. Overall, he has played in 32 games, scoring 19 goals with 16 assists for 35 points.

All-CCHA First Team: Jack Anderson, Sr., Michigan Tech (St. Louis, Mo.)

Anderson played in all 26 conference games for Michigan Tech this season, averaging 23:07 minutes per game, which ranked fifth among CCHA defensemen. His 48 blocked shots ranked seventh and he was a +11, which was second-best. Scoring six goals and dishing out 11 assists for 17 points, he had a five-game goal streak, which is the second longest in the nation in over 20 years. He blocked at least one shot in 20 games and had five blocks in a game twice. Overall, he has played in 36 contests, totaling 11 goals and 13 assists for 24 points.

All-CCHA First Team: Evan Murr, Jr., Minnesota State (Stillwater, Minn.)

Murr led CCHA blueliners with 20 points in conference play, scoring six goals with 14 assists. Posting a conference-best +17, he had one power-play goal and three game winners. Registering 71 shots, he blocked 28 defensively, while averaging 22:57 minutes per game. Notching five multi-point games, he recorded three-assist outings against Lake Superior State (Nov. 15) and Northern Michigan on (Nov. 28). Overall, he has nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 37 games.

All-CCHA First Team: Josh Kotai, Jr., Augustana (Abbotsford, B.C.)

Kotai went 14-8-4 while starting all 26 conference games for the Vikings during the 2025-26 conference season, posting a 1.87 goals-against average and a league-best .941 save percentage. Tied for the conference lead with four shutouts, he stopped a league-high 786 shots across 1576:04 minutes, chipping in with one assist offensively. Recording 14 games of 30 or more saves, he stopped 40+ in three contests. His season was highlighted posting three straight shutouts from January 9-16. Overall, he is 20-10-4 with a 1.99 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage with five total shutouts.
