MARQUETTE, Mich. (WZMQ) –
Northern michigan university celebrated the rededication of harden hall earlier this morning, marking the first phase of renovations designed to better support student learning and connection.
The refreshed space includes new study rooms, updated paint, and expanded collaboration areas – all part of an effort to make the building feel more welcoming.
University leaders, such as NMU’s Dean of Library and Instructional Support, Leslie Warren – say the goal is to bring key programs and resources together under one roof to strengthen support systems across campus.
“The biggest thing that I’m excited about is that we’ve brought a lot of important people together to develop a collaborative network to support students”, says Warren.
Officials say additional updates, including artwork and design elements – are still to come as renovations continue.
