MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZMQ) – The Michigan State Police (MSP) Negaunee Post is asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle that fled the scene of a crash in Marquette Township.
The crash occurred on February 4, around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Ontario Avenue and West Fair Avenue. The driver who caused the crash did not stop and fled the scene.
No injuries were reported by the other driver, but there was significant damage, including to a Semco gas line marker. Marquette Township Fire responded to the scene to check for any gas leaks or damage to the line. No leaks were found.
Witnesses took a photo of the vehicle that fled the crash. It is believed to be a 2013 to 2015 Lexus RX350. The Lexus likely has substantial damage to the front passenger side and center grill area. Witnesses also thought the driver may have been an older person.
