Fourth time this season
HOUGHTON, Mich. – Michigan Tech’s Stiven Sardarian is the CCHA Forward of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. It’s Sardarian fourth weekly honor this season and Tech’s 13th overall.
Stiven Sardarian had two goals and two assists in the CCHA split with Northern Michigan over the weekend. He racked up four points in Friday’s 8-2 win in Marquette, scoring Tech’s second and fifth goals of the game. In 28 games this season, Sardarian has 11 goals and 25 assists. He ranks second in the nation in points and assists to lead the CCHA and also leads the conference with a plus 15 rating.
Tech is ranked No. 19 for the second week in a row and is 17-9-2 overall and 12-4-2 in the CCHA. The Huskies travel to No. 15 St. Thomas for a battle of the top two CCHA teams. The puck drops at 8:07 p.m. Friday and 7:07 p.m. Saturday at the Lee & Penny Anderson Arena.
