ESCANABA, Mich. (WZMQ) – On Friday, a house fire in Escanaba rekindled hours after being extinguished.
At 9:35 a.m., multiple agencies responded to visible flames coming from a home on South 8th Street. Firefighters were on scene for several hours, working to contain the blaze.
Around 8:30 p.m., the fire reignited. Containment efforts were still underway when a WZMQ 19 reporter was on the scene at 10:30 p.m.
