DELTA COUNTY, Mich. (WZMQ) – One person is dead following a crash on Monday in Masonville Township.
According to Michigan State Police, the crash involved a commercial delivery truck and a pickup truck at an intersection. The collision left the driver of the pickup truck, a 51-year-old man from Munising, with fatal injuries. The driver of the delivery truck, a 29-year-old man from Seney, sustained minor injuries and was treated at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
MSP said the delivery truck had stopped at the intersection and then attempted to proceed when the pickup, heading southbound, collided with it. The crash remains under investigation.
